| If
your goal is to connect with the King of Freshwater this summer and
you're serious about it, you've come to the right place! Catching
your first Muskie on a fly is all about preparation and having a plan.
At Muskie on the Fly we can help you with both. This is extreme fishing
and is really geared toward the experienced fly angler. The fish we
see and catch average over 40" in length and demand a well conditioned
angler and good equipment. The skill and presence of mind to hook,
fight and land one of these fish has similarities to that of saltwater
fly fishing, requiring the ability to comfortably cast 9 and 10 weight
rods for long periods of time. In your pursuit to land one of these
incredible fish, your goal becomes ours, as we help stack the odds
in your favor to accomplish this well respected achievement. |

 |
| Few
experiences in life leave you with a mental image as vivid as your
first Muskie "follow". Rehearsing this moment mentally over
and over again is essential to avoiding nervous knees and the shear
inability to fuction. Even to an experienced angler, a big fish can
send them over the edge and leave them with only regrets. |

 |
| The
strike of a Muskie is as exciting as any in fishing and often happens
within a rod's length of the boat. Once hooked it is not uncommon
for these fish to come completely out of the water, creating an unforgettable
sight. |

 |
| Well
rehearsed, we quickly land, measure, photograph and release ALL fish.
THIS IS 100% CATCH AND RELEASE FISHING. If you have interest in having
a fiberglass reproduction made of your fish we can provide you with
the necessary measurements and photographs as well as recommend a
taxidermist. |
